Seal Éireann — The First Stamps of Freedom
Ireland's first stamps were issued in 1922, coinciding with the country's declaration of independence — a milestone in Irish postal history, hand-engraved here onto natural slate.
The History
The original designs featured iconic imagery representing Irish cultural heritage and national pride, including the Custom House in Dublin and traditional Celtic knotwork motifs. The 1922 overprinted "Irish Free State" stamps and the "Hibernia" series, featuring the mythical Celtic goddess, remain among the most collected of the set.

Excellent quality repurposed slate. The stamps are beatiful and the slate feels great. Windwful product, much better quality than expected, love the jagged ( not sharp ) edging. Will definitely be buying more as gifts.
Excellent
My first time ordering, but definitely not my last
